Check that out, it explains the problem.

I spoke to Aloro in IRC, and discussed a CoPaP-wide fix for the feat, but the problem is finding someone that can go in there, remove the Cleave coding from the feat and swap it to the Attack of Opportunity code like it should.

As a level 13 Monk that's had the feat since level 6, I can honestly say it has made combat complete torture in NWN, so much so that I have bowed out of DM events, simply because I didn't want to have to fight groups of enemies in high lag with absolutely no control over what my character is doing.

Thanks.

I don't think it should be changed. I know it is a pain for the monks. what the circle kick does is : If you succeed in hiting an opponent you get a free attack towards an adjustent opponent.
And i think this is ok and should be like that. BUT what should change would be to be able the attacker to switch back to the previous opponent but i doupt this can change.
So, just don't get that damn feat!

Not confirmed by me, but from another board I frequent-

... in HotU? Well, I noticed now that if you're clicking on an adjacent enemy to focus on him in the middle of the round, you lose all other attacks for that round. This also applies to Improved Knockdown, so queueing Imp KD without losing all other attacks in a round is almost impossible...

Yuck. O_O

Exactly. it should just work like an Attack of Opportunity, as in you attack your primary target for the round, perform the circle kick to hit an adjacent enemy, and then return to your primary target, mainly because the NWN combat system is pure crap.

That way you can control what you're focusing on, while still getting the benefit of the side attack, as it should be. (You can easily use the feat this way in PnP)

Should you want to swap targets, you just click the other enemy, and you'll start beating them down next round.

Also, if any of you with Bioware forums accounts can, could you post on that thread? Maybe Bioware will notice for a change and actually patch the damn thing themselves, if enough people complain about it.
