Sorry to ask this here, but I don't have a computer I can run NWN on at the moment to check this.. and I've just made an argument based on an assumption that I'd like verified, so I can go and make a retraction if necessary..

This function: Get2DAString("spells", "Innate", iSpellId);

I'm not sure what is meant by "innate" level, does that mean the spell's level (e.g. Darkness is a 2nd level spell, so it returns 2)? Or the spell's caster level (e.g. Darkness can be cast by a 4th level wizard, so it returns 4)?

Cheers,

It looks to me like it is the spells level, especially as the columns before it give the level of each class that can cast the spell.

For example it give the following information for the spell Greater Dispelling

Bard - 5
Cleric - 6
Druid - 6
Paladin - ****
Ranger - ****
Wiz_Sorc - 6
Innate - 5

Hope this helps.

Thanks for that Vicky, and now you've led me to finding the "Innate Level" value in the spell descriptions :oops:
Okay thanks!
