The World of Avlis

I'm in a bit of a unique position, since I've been away for almost a year, and there are some major differences here from what I was used to.

I was always impressed with the QA people here, but since I've returned, I've been amazed at how much work they put into testing on a daily basis. In a way, this also is about how much new stuff is coming out every day too, but I'll leave that for someone else to rave about.

All of those fixes and new shiny things would be a disaster to implement without testing by others, so the QA folks are indispensable here. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making sure things run smoothly here!

P.S. We can always use more QA testers, so if you know how to play here, and can spend a bit of time checking a few things from a list, then do send a PM to tizmo (re: Avlis Needs You!) and ask to help out.

Checking someone else's code is even more boring than checking one's own. Anyone who agrees to do this for fun instead of in return for a huge salary deserves our utmost respect.

Agreed. Our QA team is spectacular. And if anyone else has an inkling to make Avlis better, please do contact me as Gorgon suggested. QA is a great place to start out on the dev team.

Cool shit is coming. It pains me to not be able to tell you some of the cool shit that's coming. Like holding in a poo, for days.

The reason this cool shit is coming is that we have an awesome squad of QA testers who break everything the team proposes and codes up until it's honed to near-perfection. Not only that, but they give feedback, input and ideas that make the new shit betterer.
