Though I have yet to participate in one, the fact that you're doing so many McGuffins is certainly worth raving. It's a great way to bring together people who might not otherwise join forces. Keep up the good work!

I'm so glad we have another excuse to rave you, Jazz!
I love the different McGuffins you have put together thus far -what a great range! :prost:

Thanks for everything you did (and continue to do) as a player to enrich our worlds. It's great to have you extend that to re-joining the team. Thanks especially for the 'little' things - like cookieing three ladies doing nothing but discusses fashion and play debutantes.

You're a great gent, an excellent player, a fun DM, and an OK wannabe Paladin. :P

Thanks guys, and especially Amby for the kind words.

I have fun making them. I agree, it's a great way to team up with PCs you usually might not team up with. I think it's also a good way of introducing some of the lesser known or traveled dungeons. And a great reason to log in and clear a dungeon anyways!

Thank you so much for taking time with us yesterday. It was a surprise - a good one of course . I didn’t realize you were with us, till I noticed the archers - lol.
I had a great time, so again - thank you <[8).

And when Deglos ate his MacGuffin :fressen: , he came on to tell us so we didn't go crazy looking for it, then DM'ed on the fly to make our outing extra fun! Whee!!

*adds to rave too!* :cooler:

Jazz beat me to it with the rave, but if you were at today's Common House seat debate, the concept and the planning for that was all him. All I did was make some silly jokes. I think you all are going to see some interesting, fun stuff in the future from Jazz :D

Huge raves to Jazz for giving us Pelarites a great Hunt; I even enjoyed the abuse from that Verossan. 8-) Plus a shout out to my fellow Hunters... that was really fun.

Looking forward to the next Hunt.

A shout out for Jazz and DM style. Jazz nabbed two of us while we were standing around, gave us a nice little story line to follow and pulled us through a dungeon for quite a while. The remarkable parts though, was the smooth conversation with his NPC that started the quest. More than just a "I need your help please fetch this for me" but the NPC felt engaging and genuinely interested in our characters. Not always an easy task when the NPC's purpose is exactly that.. get you off you bumm and into the dungeon. In the dungeon was also great fun. He let the encounters do their things as we dealt with them but then offered otherways to engage us. Picking an enemy to randomly taunt us, or having one of their damn mages run around in cirlces about the room while the enemies shot at us. Simple things that breathed life into the encounter and added an air of the unknown. THe last vampire though was special. While nothing actually special about the enemy per se.. just a standard spawn, but the developing conversation and his ability to quickly roll with our punches was quite refreshing.

In the end i was left disappointed. How is that fitting for a rave? Because I was disappointed that it was over. This was great stuff and I wanted more of it.

You earn a rave because you always end up surprising me out of the blue, even if I happen to explore around on my own (as it often happens by playing a hermitic knowledge seeker). It's only few things at times, but they do spice the gaming session up and act as a reminder that the DMs are potentially always watching, which conversely means that Avlis is always alive! :D

I was rather impressed at how you managed to take such a dangerous place for lower levels and make it party friendly to us all while still being a challenge.
I mean, a couple of us lowbies still died, but that's expected. However, we were able to still contribute down lower levels including the 'end boss' fight, which made me happy.

A rave for Gorethar which manages to make me feel rightfully guilty even as I'm playing the grittiest, most moronic dwarf around :prost:
