It's live and it's way cool. OK, truth be told, I haven't done much with it on the live server (grabbed one new companion and trained it a little), but silverfields2 and I tested the crap out of it previously. But, it's still awesome!

And not to minimize the freaking amazing work by analgesia on the mechanics of CTS, but there are also a boatload of new animals added with the new release. See here: http://wiki.avlis.org/Category:CTS_Accepted

If you have any questions, feel free to ask, as I understand most of the end results (not the code behind them, mind you).

I didn't have anything to do with this so I can still rave about it without any conflict of interests

I have not had a chance to get very far with it but it is amazing

:rate10:

:respekt:

I too am happy to see this released. :D

It was definitely a project that made its way in game via fits and starts (note: I was the source of the fits and starts ;) ). This was a challenge to get through QA because the CTS system is relatively far reaching to other areas in the code base. There are many props and kudos to be given to others for getting this out! I'll forget some (apologies and thank you!), but...

- Brayon: thanks for sending the idea along on how to make a companion compatible with the level up package
- MadK@ and CCC: thanks for supporting this idea and suggesting much needed improvements
- Micah and Hamlet: thanks for rolling with the punches on trying to get this compiled, merged, etc
- RCon, silverfields2, and QA team: for QAing the heck out of it and providing insight for many needed improvements
- Thanks to all that posted in the player idea box. Those ideas influence and shape the CTS.

I also enjoyed reading all of the CTS research on the wiki, thanks to all of the PCs for submitting the pages!

Already loving the difference it makes for combat and the RP capabilities. Much smoother and with so much less of an OOC feel to a lot of it now!

And suddenly CTS companions are a viable option for a party with a meatshield shortage facing epic spawns. Hot damn.

Also, thank you!

Have I mentioned yet that CTS 1.2 is amazing? Taught my cat to do stealth mode this morning, and after a few minutes, looked around and couldn't find her! Had to cast True Seeing on myself just to spot my own companion.

BTW, Smeec - go tame the Ferrell Feral Cat now, to see the new, improved Moe!

The new CTS is win win win. Completely awesome.

Yet another unique selling point for Avlis. :)
