Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me.

I've installed NWN2 from legal disks and updated it. Now when i try and run the game it comes up with a message saying 'Unable to authenticate CD' after about 5 mins of CD checking.

Anyone else had this problem or found a solution?

i had this problem because i have both CD and DVD drives, and the default letter put in the ini file was to the CD drive (my NWN2 is on DVD). i manually changed the ini file and that fixed the problem.

although once or twice it again gave me that message and i just found openning and closing the DVD drive got it to recognise the DVD again.

If both of those fail, i suggest you find an old priest and a young priest....

I only have one DVD drive, but multiple HDs. I guess it could be that
