And has any idea how to make the damn game recognize resolutions other than what's your desktop? My X is properly configured and other games change resolutions fine, but NWN just refuses and forces 1280x1024 both in fullscreen and window mode.

And I'm on SUSE 10.1 using KDE with that sweet sweet sweet xgl/compiz combo.

Make sure that the target resolution(s) you want are defined in your X config, without those, it won't change. Also make sure that the appropriate window mode ini settings are set (nwnplayer.ini?)

All the different resolutions are defined in my X config, and no matter what resolution I set in nwn.ini, it automatically resets it to 1280x1024.
