Hmm..
I did a search for this and the minimum number of results was 628

, so I'm trying here..
Often I notice when using deathattack I see if an opponent make or fail a save against it.
But more often than not it seems like it doesn't force the save all that often.
Is it only donce once pr. opponent, or once a battle or sumtin?
Thanx.

Not a Team member, but since I think this should be in NWN Discussion I'll venture an answer.
Assassin Death Attack works only before combat starts, when a target is flatfooted and not in combat mode. So if you successfully sneak up on a group of enemies, you will be able to lauch a Death Attack against the first opponent you target. After your enemies are in combat mode (signalled in part by the music starting), Death Attack follows the criteria of a standard Sneak Attack.
There is an odd effect that initiative has, however, that I haven't fully figured out. If you are within range of two enemies, target one with your first attack and another with your second, if your initiative roll exceeds theirs by enough, you will launch DAs against both. But that's a very rare thing. As I said, I don't know how or why that happens.

There is an excellent discussion of when death attacks result in the chance of inflicting paralysis in the following faq:

Basicly, initiative is key as is the number of attacks you get in the first group of attacks in the round.
