Gust of Wind and Warcry

Can anybody tell me the:

1) Duration of the Knockdown for Gust of Wind. The spell description says it is just a round but experience leads me to believe it may be longer.

2) Duration of the fear effect on the Bard spell Warcry. The attack and damage bonuses are round/lvl, but the fear effect seems to be considerably shorter.

3) Reason why women would wear granny panties, unless they are married, celebate (six of one...?), or genuinely grandmothers.

Thanks.

gust of wind is rather odd from my experiences, sometimes it knocks something down and it stays down for more then 1 round, and sometimes it knocks something down and it gets up from time to time and does something (move, attack etc.) only ypo get knocked down again.

IMHO I think it has to do with saves.

When knocked down, you can make a save every round to see if you can get up, when failed you stay down, if successful you get up and do something. Next round make a save again or be knocked down etc... for as long as the duration.

I don't know about the fear effect though.

The knockdown effect of Gust of Wind lasts for three rounds.

The fear effect of Warcry lasts for four rounds.
