NPC merchants not buying?

Seems to be a problem with the NPC merchants - just tried PE in Mikona, and both Fiona (AKN) and in ROTE in Ferrell.
Is there an issue, or am I just being rude to the NPC merchants?
*edit* to clarify, it's the scales, appraisal tables etc that I seem to be having an issue with

That's a sign the particular servers need to be reset. It's not you. It's a problem in the code of NPC's. Fiona should be working now. Ferrell was just reset a couple of hours ago. I think PJ may have fixed that problem with the code now too.. not sure.

Um... sometimes p-merchants run out of gold for items. Then they stop buying. Sometimes they just don't buy what you have. Sometimes their appraisal tables go south. *shrugs* Not sure what the issue is here, would need more info...

Fiona died. She demanded a vacation until such time as the server was reset. Happens a lot. I still like the dual-wielding 40th level monk/fighter/WM idea for some of the P-Merchants. That way we never have to worry about them dying or raising them or any of that. And make them give out 0xp, and no alignment points, just so no one gets the bright idea of camping the AKN killing off NPCs. Though I do have to say, more often than not, they are just innocent bystanders in a DM event, and something gets to them. Fiona was getting killed daily during the Rift Closure.

OK - more info. The problem was one of 'non-response' - i.e. put an item into (onto?) the appraisal table /equivalent device, and nothing - not a "I don't buy..." or anything. At PE in mikona, I tried selling dire-animal blood to the p-merchant who's sales dialogue said that he bought, so I'm imagining that it's an issue with the code that may well have been fixed while I've been asleep.

A server reset will fix this.
