Missing textures

Greetings.

Ever since I installed the latest versions of the hak files.. about a month ago now, I seem to be missing some textures. Here are a few of them:

1. the tower at the entrance to Le'Or city.
2. my rock elm bow
3. the bark and stems on apple trees
4. some rocks and trails and hidden doors come up as large white rectangles
5. a few other random things.

Would anyone have any ideas about this? Is this a known issue or just my issue?

Thank you!

Other people have commented on this, though I didn't do a search for the threads. I believe the first thing you should try it to reload all the haks, then test it out before trying anything else.

Erp, didn't see that it was in Ask the Team when I posted this.

Moved to GD because other players will be able to help just as much as the team. Re-installing the haks is probably the best thing to try first though, yes.

I kinda have the same problem. When I go into Mikona's finest it is all white stuff no collor to it. the objects are there but I see blinding white.

My rock elm bow also "suddenly" stopped showing its picture properly in inventory. that along with my tiger helm.

Seemed to conincide coincidentally with the DNS problems.

I reloaded all of my .hak, .erf, and .tlk files and I still have the same problem. If anyone has any other ideas, I'll gladly give them a shot.

Thanks!

Well after a long time.. I accidentally came across the solution to my problem. I upgraded my video drivers to a newer version today and when I logged in my Rock Elm bow had color.. and so do all of those trees that have been bright white for a while now.. I guess there must have been some problem with the video drivers I had not being able to draw the textures that were not working correctly.

The version I used to have was NVIDIA's 1.0-7676 drivers. I now use NVIDIA's 1.0-8174 drivers and everything is working nicely :)

Just thought I'd throw that out there in case it can help anyone else.
