The World of Avlis

First time I have been in the world. Ran around looking for real people for over an hour. How do I find people? This is not a rant, just not quite sure where to go.

First off, welcome to Avlis!

Which server did you start on? Some are more popular than others at particular times of day, and each has their own 'meeting spot' where people tend to gather. For example, Elysia's is Elf Gate, and Mikona has the Rock. There's a thread about it somewhere, I'll dig it upand post a link in a minute.

The easiest way, if you're just getting started and can't find anyone, is to press 'p', and bring up the player list. This shows all of the players on the server - send one of them a tell asking nicely for some help, and they'll most likely to be glad to show you around.

Yeah sometimes the popular places are empty so its no guarentee but I dont think that I have seen another player out there that wouldnt free themselves up to help show a new player around. Of course you gotta be careful you send tells to.... might accidently snag a Reaver or one of them twisted, evil Ivory mages.
