Hi,

I'm having some heavy problems when I wanna log on NWN now, at first it takes quite awhile to authorise playername, next it states I could not connect to master server and the I see all of the servers offline..

Is there anything I can do to fix this ASAP?

I dunno if I've done something wrong in any of my downloads.. But everything else on my internet works fine..

Hope your able to help me out ;)

Bioware's Masterserver and Gamespy's listing service are not something that we have any control over.

Can it be that you are downloading something in a background, and timing out every time?

I get this quite a bit, and I've always put it down to packet loss. Sometimes it logs in straight away (well, about a second or two) sometimes it takes a bit longer, and sometimes it won't join at all and I get the 'cannot connect to master server' message.

If I doen't get throigh the 'authorising player name' bit after about 5 seconds I usually just cancel and then try again. After 3 attempts it pretty much always works.

Moved to NWN General Discussion, as this is not a question about Avlis, but about NWN itself.

when that happens to me, it usually means that my internet connection is in the process of restarting or rebooting. (my wireless has a tendency to do that often) and so it will have difficulty connecting to biowares master server. If you have full internet capability and your not dropping out though, I don't know what to tell you.

Hi,

Thanks for both the concern and hints that helped me on my way here..

For some odd reason it ended up with that I was told I had incorrect name or password. I changed password, and everything suddenly worked out fine.. Very very odd to say the least.

But I'm relieved that I didn't have to call my doctor at 05.00 in the morning for some nervemedicine..

YAY!

portal.php?getpage=hakpaks

The above should link you to all the haks you need.

Oh, and the .tlk file needs to go in the tlk sub-folder, not your main Avlis directory or your haks subfolder. I think a few folks have come unstuck there.

Try here: http://195.169.215.21/cgi-bin/avlis.py? ... S2/hakpaks
All the files needed are in there. Good luck!
