The World of Avlis

The flood of postings don't seem to match my Multiplayer logon problem.

Whether direct connect or Game Spy, I get Password Incorrect.

I have the case correct, activated my account, etc, but it is still no go. Most attempts have been on Mikona, but I did try a couple of others with like results.

I did revert from 1.66 to 1.65 after my Password activation - which also makes me uncertain on CEP, Hak, etc status.

Any words of wisdom out there for an Avlis newbie?

Are you using the passwords from the list you got when you sent your application or your forum password? These two things aren't the same thing. If you haven't send an app yet go here.

Nah, I found the port posting - and that is not my problem. My good pal Snow may have it, though. I no longer remember whether or not I sent in an app.

I just did, though perhaps again.

It has been a tough three days, reverting from 1.66 to 1.65, for I hit corrupted software since Friday [fixed earlier today], and installing all hakpaks, CEP, etc. I am going in for the very long haul, so I went for the whole tamale...and may have bitten off too much!

I've good friends who Avlis addicts, and I intend to be one as fast possible!

The acceptance mail lists the servers as avlis.blackdagger.net:port# and tells you what you need to replace "port#" with. A lot of people replace just the # and leave avlis.blackdagger.net:port5121 avlis.blackdagger.net:port5122 etc. When you do this the port number is ignored and you get logged into Mikona. So people wonder why they can only log into Mikona but all other passwords come out as wrong (since they use the passwords for the other servers instead of the Mikona one)

Snow I am sure you right again. I was doing too much and missed needing both Forum and Gamer approval. I do not have an Email listing servers, just the Forum

Does it get old...being right all the time?
