The World of Avlis

Hey everyone!
I've been doing some major work on another NWN P-world, the World of Haven. Server just went up three weeks ago, and we've been ironing out some major bugs. Everything on the server is in pretty neat shape now, and we need some players to come in and try it out!

Haven features an extensive crafting system, featuring everything from baking and brewing to enchanting and jewelrycrafting.
As of this morning, 1246 different crafting recipies.

Over sixty custom races, including 12 different species of half-dragon.
The half dragon races are locked prestiege races, DM permission only, however many other interesting races are freely open for play, from pixies and brownies to yuan-ti.
ECL on the on the races ranges from 0-6.

Winged races have the ability to fly from one point to another.

This is a pretty major project, but it can't come alive without some people to poke in and enjoy it, even if only for a little while!

Haven is an open beta. To connect either use the direct connect box and enter: atomnet.co.uk

Or use the gamespy browser, the game is listed under PW Story, with the name "The World of Haven".

Also, as of today there is a working racial language system.
If you wish to say something in your character's racial language, type "/dm [stuff]" where stuff is whatever you wish to say.
It will appear garbled to other PC's who do not have the same racial language as yours.
Talus emote system is operational.

This last one sounds so cool!

Just out of curiosity, can this system account for PC's who for whatever IC reasons dont speak the languages normal for their race?

For example, On Avlis now, there is a certain wemic that doeant know a word of Lerrone, but does know Shaahesk just as well as he knows Common.

No, the Haven language system just lets your PC speak a racial language approprate to your race. You could always just not use it if you don't want too, though.
