i just got accepted to avlis and after having an incredible amount of trouble getting version 1.65....(i had to uninstall twice)

i am now getting the error message

"Cannot connect CD key not authorized"....

WHAT THE BEEP IS THAT????

i bought NWN a couple of months ago and my version is completely legal.

is there any way the avlis admin/s can just authorize my cd key or something???

Maybe you got bad luck and some A-hole is using your CD-key thanks too one of those CD-key generators. If so don't know what to do about it except track down the bastard and get medevil on him

i hope so. i recall reading someplace that the avlis admins just manually authorize a cd key. i don't know where I read that though or if I'm imagining things...i dunno...

Are you getting that before you see your vault, In the little box that starts off saying stuff like "attempting to find server"?

When exactly are you getting this message, what have you done before you get it, and what does it allow you to do once you have got the message?

Can you connect to other servers?

From the bit of info you have given it sounds like you are having connection issues with the bioware authentication server, but its impossible to give a total answer without more info.

i click "direct connection" and i enter the thing for

"avlis....?? port:???" whatever and when I enter the password



it finds the server and it connects but then stops and says I have unauthorized cd key

after that it just goes back to the gamespy server lists

Edit the password out.

From the sounds of it, this is not an Avlis issue or anything the Avlis team can do anything about.

I suggest you try a few other servers (you should have the other copap passwords already), if you get the same result then post in the bioware tech support forum.

If you can get to other server but just not avlis then ... *shrugs* post here again i guess.

EDIT: uummm...i posted on the bioware site and there are other people having my problem also.
