i was just trying to log back in after the server in Le'Or reset and was having problems with computer it froze up a couple of times and also was saying i had the incorrect password. then when i thought it was finally going to connect it came back said server found ... you have been banned. i have not broken any rules that i know of and dont know if this was intentional or if it may have been a mistake. could someone please help me?

Last i heard if you fail the password three times it auto bans you i think until the next server reset.. or a period of time perhaps? You should be able to log into another one still, that would tell you if have an Avlis ban.

The server password seems to have not been reset to normal and needs some PlasmaJohn wubbins.

I have been having the same problems with the Deglos server since January.

Yesterday, Alustriel, tried to help me.(Thanks) I have not yet reported back to him yet, but it seems the server is blocking my IP address not my gamespy account.

If it would be of any help, I will send my IP address to you.

Any help from any quarter would be greatly appreciated.

I think the Player password might be incorrect on Le'Or. It has failed twice for me and I am pretty certain I typed it correctly. The DM password works and the module is running fine - but nobody is online there.

Please do not risk locking yourselves out until this is reported as being fixed.

Le'Or was just updated, could there have been a misclick somewhere in that? Am I pointing out the obvious?

well i know that the server has been restarted but i still can not get in. i have been very careful about keying in pasword and it is still saying that i am BANNED.

i was just on it (LeOr) for a short time this morning at 545 am wisconsin time. my player password worked if that helps any

I have been experience this similar problem with: Incorrect Password. It eventually said i was banned because I tried so many different combinations of the passwords. The only server that I seem able to get on is Mikona.

This is not a problem that is exclusive to Avlis. I did some research (not really research). I googled it:"Incorrect Password" + NWN

There are lots of accounts of people saying that it just went away after a week or so. And there are some other places with patch downloads that say that the bug: Incorrect password has been fixed:

I hope that this is somthing that will just go away, sooner better than later. I really want to log into another server too.

Another little tid-bit of information: Those of you who try so many combinations of the password and still fail to get it to work will eventually be banned. And don't worry, it's not permanent. I got banned last night and was allowed to try again this morning (to no avail I might add, sadly).

well i tried to go back to Le'Or starting in Ferrell and cam to lift in T'Nanshi, when i portaled i got message saying that i am BANNED. so not only can i not log in to Le'Or but i can not portal in as well.

Okay....I just got booted from Ferrell....and When I try to relog.....I'm Banned......can anyone help figure what is up....

I'll add to that...I was just talking to Bell and Val....It looks like they are still logged into the server...there where eight people still on when I got the BANNED message.....so...this like a new virus or something?

Canywazz and I are on the same network , but different machines...so I reset the whole system...including the router and cable modem....I let the connections stay off for a few minutes before restarting anything.....but alas...I'm Still BANNED from Ferrell, and she is Still BANNED from LeOr. Could this be our ISP's IP? As our local IP should have changed when I reset the router and modem and ALL five machines? Only two of the Towers are powered right now (yes they were reset, too). Our own house server is powered down as well as our laptops.....(server has been off for about a month now...so I know that isn't hurting anything...). Obviously we are still networthy as we can still surf and post....just not able to log into our respective servers for ingame play.....

to demon_hunter: Since you've done searches, you've probably seen all the warnings, but I will post them here again. Make sure the password you type in is correct in terms of case - meaning, any capitol letters in the e-mail you received must be capitalized when you type them in. Also, if you copy and paste the password from the e-mail, you will often accidentally include an extra space at the end which must be deleted for the password to be correct.

The same thing happened to me. Wait like 8 hours for the server to restart. When that happens it will let you in again. I waited over night, and it was cured when I woke up. It's a horrible feeling though, being unsure that you will be able to get back to Avlis. You wake up with a cold sweat and nightmares.... it'll pass.



As for the case sensativity, I know I type it right. I can get into Mikona. First try, just by reading off the e-mail. I printed it out. I have gone through the password, one letter at a time, and double checked for extra spaces. I have tried a lot of different combinations as well.

I just hope that, like in some of the resources i read, this will cure itself after a week or so. It is strange. I started in Mikona but have ventured into the wilderness a lot. But I can't load back in the Wilderness because it says that I am using the wrong password. Which is really odd.

So I guess my question is... why can I get into Mikona, but none of the other servers?

And just wanted to add, that I am 99.9% sure that you will be banned from all the servers.

I can get into Mikona, Wilderness, and Deglos....but Not Ferrell or LeOr...she can get into Eysia and all the same...but Not Ferrell or LeOr.

The odd thing is she can't portal from the Wilderness to LeOr...and I was already logged into Ferrell when I got booted and banned.....She had logged into Ferrell to try to run to LeOr and portal, instead of Log Directly in because of the banning problem. Which she did get all the way to LeOr Lift then got booted from LeOr. We both can get into the wilderness and respective servers as noted in the first paragraph. (she is all addicted to Avlis now ....*sigh*....) We are on the same network...so I take it if one is banned.....so is the other...but why would either one of us be banned from Ferrell, especially when one of us is already logged in there....Not that we can't wait a few hours...have house stuff to do anyways....We DO have our own seperate CD Keys.....(yeah I bought the whole game twice so we can play together...), but yeah, we go through the same router. Which has been reset (along with the rest of the systems). Should we assume that we need to wait for a server reset for Ferrell and LeOr (and do something productive today...outside of gaming *chuckles* )

So I guess we will wait and see what happens...

just realized that when Tony Wazz was boot from Ferrell was about the same time if not the same time as when i went to go portal from wilderness to Le'Or. just wondering if that may have something to do with him being booted from Ferrell in the first place.
after all he was logged in already and i am now BANNED from Ferrell in addition to Le'Or.

When I am free and there is a quiet time on those two servers, I'll reset them. Hopefully that will do the trick.
