I went to post a reply thanking sindol for answering my question.

After a nasty triple post, i tried to delete the last one and 86'ed the thread by mistake.

All I need then, is the .haks and .erf's? I also dacked up the override and 2da's as well as all the ini files. So I guess Im straight then :D

thanks sindol :)

I just reinstalled completely - what a pain in the ass! 7 CD's, 30meg update, about 3 gig of haks, overrides, no-cd patches, portraits, logs

I'm surprised anyone new can be bothered with it all !

7 cd's?! I only have 5. The 3 nwn disks, the sou disk and the hotu disk.

What are the other 2, those premium mods or somethin?
If they are, can you send me the ISO's? I'm cheap

I can't even count how many I have... the five main CD's and a ton of haks on burned CD's. It's rough to DL any .hak with dialup

I just copied all my haks and other stuff right to my 250GB hard drive.

wiped my 80 and now reinstalling. Now I can't find my nwn or sou cd's. the only one i can find is the hotu. so now i have to wait for the disks to finish downloading.

right now, disk 1 and 3 and the sou cd is finished downloading, after disk 2 is done I will burn them and install. Watch me find my disks after i finish going through all this trouble just to play nwn.

Q. If I use different cds, will they accept my cd keys? I don't see why they wouldnt take the keys I own but I do know that windows will only take the same cd key 3 times on the same system and only 2 times on a different system.

yeah, it should accept your cdkey. As far as I know the cd key is not in any way related to the disc. Just a way for bioware to verify that it is a legit copy.
