Does anyone know how long the STR drain from this lasts? Is it long enough to Sneak Attack, disengage, rehide, and still have the target's strength drained?
Thanks.

Permanent until rest or dispelled.
EDIT: May even last through rest.

Yeah, permanent until dispelled. Makes it all the more scarey. Normal drains don't bother me, I just think, meh, sleep it off. But this means I actually go and have to find a Cleric. All the more RP fun

Always have potions of lesser restoration on hand! Most handy potion in the world.

It is a timed effect I think ... not permenant but does not go with rest. Very handy.
If someone wants to test it out give a shout

I was thinkin of taking called shot and using in combination with crippling strike. I take it this is a successful strategey?

In some ways Crippling Strike is better, and in other cases Called Shot is better. Let me explain:
Crippling Strike is melee only. Called strike is melee or ranged.
Called Shot affects movement rate (and AC by virtue of affecting DEX)
OR it affects to-hit. Crippling Strike affects to-hit (if STR based) and damage. If you can make the target encumbered too - it also affects their movement

Note, most PCs usually operate close to their encumberance limit. NPCs usually operate nowhere near their limit.
Called Shot only lasts a few rounds. Crippling Strike lasts until you get a Lesser Restore.
Crippling Strike only works on a sneak attack. Called Shot also works on non-sneak attacks.
Called Shot is done at a -4 penalty and there is a Discipline roll to overcome. Called shot is done at no penalty and there is no opposed roll.
Together they would make a good combination. I think the main benefit of Called Shot over Crippling Strike is that it works at ranged, secondary is that it doesn't need to be a sneak attack. Otherwise Crippling wins hands down.

I was thinking benifits in combination.
Scenario: I have crippling strike and will get only one more feat selection before I hit 20th level where epic feats become somewhat available. I have crippling strike and knockdown but am considering expertise, improved critical, improved knockdown or called shot.

Expertise is good. On a low magic item world, AC items get harder and harder to find, that extra +5 AC from Expertise is damn good.
AC comes from armor bonus, deflection bonus, dodge bonus (including DEX), natural armor and shiled (if you use one). The best you can expect to get at high level is +3 of everything. If you've only got +1 or +2 items in these categories - then you still have room to expand, and as long as you don't mind spending gold, you can buy those. But if you've got pretty much the best you can get and still want / need to increase your AC then Expertise is a good way to achieve it. I guess your DEX based, and probably put a lot of points into tumble too - so you have another way of increasing AC. But for anyone that this is not an option, I would definitely suggest Expertise (I find it invaluable).

A reason why I prefer Crippling Strike over Called Shot (I have both by the way): You need to damage your opponent for Called Shot to work... unlike Crippling Strike, when all you have to do is hit it.
I think I got that right, but I'm kind of confused right now, so who knows

I'll try it later.

I'm not sure that's true. Please post the results though I'd like to know.

Don't know about crippling strike but you definitely need to deal damage for called shot to work. If you don't deal any damage you'll get a "called shot: failed" message, instead of either "hit" or "resisted".

*nods at mort* I am sure about that, it's the other part I need to test... but it probably works like that (90% sure)
