is it right that an army uniform left in an inn chest in Mikona should disappear? is this down to the fact its not part of the mikona palate?

Also how many pages should an inn chest have. Mine only appears to have one while i know of other players who have 20+ pages?

More pages appear as you fill them.

thank you. And the uniform? its just it took me 3 weeks from joining the army to get it, and it would be a shame to have to find a dm to give it to me again

Bug report about it not being in the pallette? Odd that it's not, but such oversights happen. It's certainly not going to just reappear for you, so you'll indeed need to find a DM.

NPC army uniforms (like the one you were given) are not in the Mikona palette.

Depends, I learned something from this thread (persistant chest max being 25 - I didn't know that for sure yet) so having it here to read for others might not be a bad idea

Ok, so let me change a topic a bit.
I brought some item from Mystara which is not in the Avlis palette, either. I was told it would disappear after first server crash/reboot I witness. So far, two weeks passed and the servers with me on them crashed several times... though, I still have this item.

Question 1)

What does it mean? Is there a chance one pretty day I log in and see empty place on my shortcut menu where it used to be?

Question 2)

Would it be different if I put it to a chest? Would it disappear then?

Non-Palette items ONLY dissapear if:

-You put them in a p-chest (ALSO: Guild Storage, Display Chest) and wait for a server reset.
-You put them in a bag and then in a p-chest. It disspears immediately.
-You die and the server resets while you do not have claimed your corpse yet.

If its on your character, it doesn't matter if it is palatte, off-world, or whatever, it stays in your characters BIC file and is there forever after resets etc etc. It will only get lost (or possibly changed) if you put it into a p-container and then there is a server reset.

NB: when you die your "player corpse" is a p-container! So if you die, and don't get back to your corpse and the server resets - you will lose it.
