The World of Avlis

Hey all I am new here and am really excited to get into Avlis proper. I have read the boards and found some really good things about the server. I had one problem tonight though. Attempting to play was extremely painful to play. I had terrorable lag problems. Also when I tried to move my character kept porting back to its original position. It was to the point where it was unplayable for me. My questions is does this happen to others or am I a special case? And if so what can I do to reduce this problem? Thanks in advance

Best I can tell it's something to do with the recent updates, and is being worked on. Mikona's been a lot better very recently, but yeah, I was on Elysia and noticed it as well.

Hey dude,
I doubt your the only one, but I suppose after an upgade as such this is to be expected, I dont speak on behalf of the team, though I'm sure there will be a post here or elsewhere about the lag prob from them.
But you are right, Avlis is the coolest, got a prob, post it,wait a minute, and anyone that can help you will.
As far as the lag problem, all I can say as a player is be patient, the team are probably the best (unpaid) team out there, and it wont last long that I can assure you, and they do their utmost to make Avlis a unique experience.

Cool thanks for the replies guys. It is a relief to know that this is not the norm (that would have been a real let down). In the mean time I will just continue to get up to speed with whats going on in the world.

*coughs* When I started playing, Hala had horrible lag problems, so I visited on Avlis for a bit. Might I suggest the opposite? Hala just moved servers as well, and lag is a thing of the past
