Is there any way to edit the apperance of, say, a suit of armor?

Not on avlis.
But, there are other CoPAP worlds like Hala (not sure) that do make use of the NWN crafting skills to chage appearances.

Hala and Mystara to my knowledge

How in Hala? I tried once, and couldn't figure out how to edit. Is it like Mystara?

right click on PC and select the craft armor feat (it's the icon shaped like an anvel)
then select modify armor appearance to change your clothes. you'll know what to do from then on.
or, you can choose the add a robe of modify weapon appearance, but you'll need high DC to do these things, and money.

Does it still work in Mystara? I was there since the portal reopened and wasn't able to do the modifications. I'd stick to Hala if you want to tailor your clothes.

Try the emote wand when on Rockhome, think it is bound to that with an option for crafting.

As far as I can tell, you can no longer do that is Mystera.....never tried in Hala though.....

Thanks for the help on Hala. But as for Rockhome, it's pretty much down. I posted on the forum there, and others have said that they're having problems too. It might be because of the update, I don't know. All I know, is that it's down.

and about...why we cant crafting in Avlis or have someone who can...if i want to customize my character like have a cloak in view, what can i do for....just wait to have the chance to get an armor crafted like that ?
