The World of Avlis

Edit: This used to be a post about usable horses, but I removed the link to end further discussion and beating of old horses.

A moderator who would like to remove this thread would be appreciated.

That is very likely just a re-release of a hak that was already out there.

To head off a push for horses on Avlis or CoPaP, horses were already discussed.

The answer is tentatively "Not right now."

This is subject to change, but the simple fact is that the current implimentations are lacking.

For instance, the last horse hakpak that was pushed for was missing most animations... some of which included casting...

There is a project right now that is trying to get the rest of the animations in place... but then what about the next horse hak that comes out?

The Dragonlance Adventures team has a full horse system including all animations, and combat. Not to mention MUCH better models. Honestly, I'd rather wait and get it done right, than deal with all the bitching from the players about what's missing or broken.

EDIT:
If another CoPaP world want's to impliment horses now, it's their perogative. But that implimentation CAN NOT include ANYTHING that can be carried or otherwise taken, by a player through a portal to another world. Such things need to be implimented at the CoPaP and Universal Hak level, and must achieve an agreement from the worlds involved by way of a vote.
