Hey,
how do I view the description I entered for my own character?
The one others see when they examine me?
Uh, I've forgotten what I look like

Easy. Put the examine function in a hotkey slot and use it on yourself. Happy viewing.

Or examine your character while possessing his/her familiar.
Here's one who found out this way earlier than the one desribed above

The questions is why'd you wanna do that?

Probably used when your ego gets so inflated you want to see how others view you.

Is there still no way to change your description?

It can be done on the abyss server. No idea how to go there though

Also, is it possible to change your player model? For some reason, during character creation (yes, I really should of said something sooner, but I didn't want to be a pain) when the golem changed me into the sub-class, it automatically changed my skin colour, hair colour and body model, thus making me a very light coloured fat elf, which was kind of silly considering he was supposed to be slightly more tanned (not a huge armount, but still) and, well, not fat, heh.
Just wondered if anything could be done about that, although I doubt it.

Damn good idea! I can't even remember the character description I used at character creation. Time to get back to his RP roots. Gads, I hope there aren't too many typos.

It can be done on the abyss server.
Works like a combination of the Scribe system and the Custom Race creations system. IE; you speak your description, then it kicks you

.
Only drawback is that the description length is limited by the speech word limit. Which is far, far too short if you want a long, in depth description.

I think the limit you speak of is just the edge of your screen. You can continue typing past that. Though how far I'm not sure. Never hit an actual limit, myself.

You can say quite a lot, as I am running on a higher screen res, thus I can see more of what I say before I press enter. Problem is, if you think you've made a typo past that point, you're screwed, heh.

Being long winded I hit that limit a lot myself. It should be long enough for what is suppose to be what someone notices at a glance. People who write a novella are, I think, sort of missing the point.
As to why you would WANT to view your own, I know many people who put time and effort into a nice custom description only to have it vanish early in their live (not sure why, likely player error on creation) and at least this way they can catch it and decide if they want to remake it or not.
