Yes, don't give him black skin
Just kidding
Some may disagree but i suggest just going around with some kind of player and when you see an orge (gnoll, orc, etc..) PC whos role playing really well ,send them a PM and ask them about it. Ask them their angle, ask them how they play their monster, what attitude they have, how they see the world, how they role play fitting in with other races.
I wouldnt copy what they do ver batem but it might give you a heads up. I had to do that with a shifter and druid. Most of the time people are helpful. (Cept that one guy who i read a post from, he said if someone sends him a tell he ABUSES them. Dont send one to that guy)

Actually even tough it says half-ogres are size four you still cant duel wield two greataxes (has to do with nwn mechanics).
And half-ogres get +5 to strenght (from orcs +2)
so with maxium boost (20) you can get 23 str at first level.
Clothes
Apparently someone is making custom races able to wear clothes (wich is not yet done) but no if you wear armor it wont be shown. Neither will be a shield(yes you can use greataxe and a towershield at the same time).

Here's my experience with Turrok.
1 Only the primary weapon shows, even if you dual wield.
2 Large weapons that are wielded do not do the over the shoulder thing. They are always held out like a one handed weapon. (never liked the over the shoulder thing so this is a good thing imho)
3 Nothing shows in the off hand, shield included.
4 No armor shows.
5 I personally think the half ogre model is hidious, one of the reasons I walk around with continual barkskin.
6 Half Ogre's with barkskin are sexah. (very important to note)
Turrok, as a priest, has a 10 int and a 18 wisdom. So he may have some troubles expressing himself, but he understands alot of whats going on around him, although in rather simple terms.
Half Ogre's are not universally hated, although they are usually approached with fear. I've run into some friction before, but usually that is RPed away after a few minutes. Of course Turrok is goodly, which helps alot.
Here's some typical dialogue from Turrok:
Hi der
Hows is yous?
Me is Turrok, me is da hunter an da erbalist an in da A K N
It nebber okays ta makes undeads
Yous keeps yer sparks o life good! (Picked this up from Resthal)
Yous wants ta meets me friend? Pelar lets me plays wif him (Cast summon monster XX)
Dis my friend.
I'm usually around Ferrell now, and always willing to RP if you want to send me a tell about it.

For a variation on a half-ogre char, look for 'Bruk', just remember to bring your patience along with you....

Turrok is an awesome example of how to play a half-ogre. Actually, Turrok is one of my favorite characters to hang out with, because he's so awesome.

As an avid player of a half-ogre(Kurlak) I'd say the biggest annoyance of playing a half-ogre is people call you an ogre even if you mention that they are *half* in the description so I hope that if the half-ogre model changes that it doesn't look like a full-blood ogre.

There's a beta of a full player-model half-ogre on the vault now. Shows armours, weapons etc.
Hopefully we'll get it eventually.

I'll put in a good word for Bruk. Yes, he does require patience, but that's a half of the fun.

With 10 int you can speak good common. 8 int would mean you speak common poorly.

My half ogre mage (Int 15) actually speaks common more fluently than most other characters I've seen
Sample Ping dialogue
Goodness! Is that the time? I really must fly to a meeting.
My nomenclature is Ping
Indeed, my master passed away from a hideous swamp disease.
EAT ELECTRIC DEATH YOU SONS OF BITCHES!
So, the best way to play YOUR halfogre isn't really to play it someone elses way.
Half ogres can be intelligent, they can be wise,or they ccan be the usual "Stupid as mud, can't talk properly" sort of half-ogre
Look at how other people do theirs and then do it your way.

Actually, 9 Int is the barrier where you go from being able to speak normally to speaking like George W. Bush.
So with 10 Int, you could carry on a regular conversation and speak normally, since you're of average intelligence. There are quite a few Half-Ogres that speak normally... Sarm's char, Kurlak, springs to mind.

Yeah, it is actually written in the info box during character creation "Below 9 you character is unable to speak properly".

There's really two things there, though.
Int controls if you can create proper sentances, use a good vocab etc.
Jaw structure controls if you can talk properly. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a fair bit of variation in jaw structure in half-ogres...

I have a really little-played gnoll, that has trouble speaking properly both muzzlewise and intellectually. Based on a few suggestions from Scurvy, I made him to be unable to say m-sounds, making them sound more like nnn. Also, I think there was problems with B and P sounds due to lack of lips. Could've gone further, I guess, but it was really taxing for my little old brain to work it all out..

Well, you can have 18 Int and still speak like you have a vice grip clamped to your tongue... see also every other dwarf in Avlis.
But seriously, over 9 Int, it's your decision, really... your Half-Ogre could be very smart, but have been raised by Giantkin, and thus not have a clean grasp of the language, or been raised with an odd accent, if you want.
The point in the rule is really that if you're under 9 Int, you MUST RP some sort of speech deficit, since you're character is just too stupid to speak properly, no bones about it.
