currently the only disabled PrCs on Avlis are Red Dragon Disciple, Champion of Torm, and Harper Scout.
The rest require a quest of some sort to activate.

warning: This post was made undersleep deprived circumstances, i likely made an error somwhere.

All bioware prestige classes except those mentioned by Vroshgrak above are available, but locked to PCs unless they first do an appropriate quest (either scripted or by DM, since most aren't scripted yet).

Besides that there are the holy warrior prestige classes, 7 of them. Apparently you already found those. Note that the paladin is also a holy warrior on Avlis and was a bit customised. we've upgraded that class to have a detect evil ability.

Other than that there's no custom classes or prestige classes (yet).

Maybe its nice ot have a prestige class for bard, since both harper scout and red dragon diciple are not available anymore.

Archane Archer and Shadow dancer would work for a bard, depedning on the situation of course.

I think a bard would indeed make a great arcane archer, as most bards use ranged weapons anyway.
Shadowdancer is more of a rogue PrC in my opinion. Because the hiding in plain sight and evade abilities and such are especially cool for being able to do more sneak attacks and hide better. And the possibility of summoning a shadow is of course a great way to have an enemy flanked so you can sneak attack.

So long as the bard never, ever uses the fireball arrow feat then that is fine. The class should be limited to having a minimum of sorcers lvl 6, or wizard lvl 5 due to that decision by bioware. Bioware should have not implemented the feat rather than do this way (give the feat to people who should not have it) or making the feat dependant on at least having one of those levels. In PnP you actually want to have wizard levels (and the more the better) since it makes that feat extremely versitile as you can imbue any area of effect spell you know into it. But as bards have virtually no area of effect spells that feat does them little good. Its also idiotic that the spell does not affect everyone in the targeted area.
