maybe someone could help

hiya.
I dont seem to be able to connect when i try to multiplay as it comes up as master server unavailable or sumfin. I was wonderin if anyone's experienced this problem and if they could tell me what to do.

I have had that happen before to me. I think it just went away after a while. Maybe you can try a different name or something

Just wait and try again. bioware (or gamespy) cd-key stuff is just crashed or something. that happens all the time (at least 1 per month).

Actually, even though it say "Could not connect to master server" (or whatever it is), you can still play multiplayer games. I think it just means you won't get access to some services - don't know what because I've never used them.
For connecting to Avlis it is best (IMHO) to use Direct Connection mode, this is easy and quick and you don't need the gamespy server details anyway.

Yup dc works even if the master servers are down.
