Hi everybody,
I'm new to Avils so I thought I'd stop in and introduce myself. I have always been interested in role-playing games and I dabbled a bit in PnP back in college many years ago. When the Baldur's Gate series came out I played both games with great interest, especially the sequel which I thought had a great story line and fun gameplay. Started playing NWN last summer and quickly finished the OC, SoU, and some other single player modules, then started to look into PWs. Took me a long time to find one that I liked and I ended up playing on Glorwing (pw.glorwing.com) for over two months. Had a great time there. When HotU came out I started playing NWN again and after I was done, decided to see if I could find a new PW to explore. A long search ensued which eventually led me here to Avlis.
About me: I'm 37 years old, male, and I live in Fort Worth, TX. In addition to playing computer games (RPG and RTS mostly) I'm also interested in motorcycles, (riding my H-D Road King every opportunity I get) and African Cichlids.
About my character: Aribel has been my main character for close to a year now. (That's her in my avatar
) She's been with me through the OC, SoU, HotU, Glorwing and elsewhere and during this time she's developed into a mature character with a rich background and an interesting personality. Each time I restart her I build something new into her story and I'm hoping that her adventures in the World of Avlis will add a lot more. For meta info reasons I won't reveal more here, but if you see her IG please stop by, she loves to make new acquaintances.
