Areas' names

Toolset question:
Let us say, you create 2 new areas in a new module, with names "forest X" and "Dungeon Z". When you try to export them as resources, they have some other names, usually "area" and "area001", instead of "forestx" and "dungeonz". I tried but I couldnt find a decent way to manually change these "resource" area names.

The only way I could come up with was to copy the areas in the same module, which allows you to change their "resource" name.

Is there any other way?

Irrelevant PS. Have you noticed that in the Talk line on your playing screen, the End and Home buttons do function now? Pretty cool :)

The best thing to do, is name them when you create the area via the area wizard. That's where it's getting area001 or area01, when you start up the wizard it asks for a name, put it in there, and you'll be fine.

That's the only way I know of. The resource name you refer to, is the ResRef, it's what the game uses to identify what it needs to put into the game. In the game, it uses Tags.

I have the same problem with Custom items.

I created a Book and this had a resref based on its name.

However, I created some clothing and this had resrefs like item and item001.

I used the Wizard to create them.

Can these be renamed?

Edit copy should let you rename the resref/blueprint.
