Attention Elves: Earlift

In the same spirit as the Monk animations, I offer this amuseing change:

http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/hakpacks/d ... 6580.shtml

1. Unzip it into your Override directory.
You'll notice files named pfe0 and pme0. These correspond to female and male respectively. There's two types of files, mdl and plt.

2. I suggest this next step just incase, so there aren't any headless models on your screen: Delete all the pfe0 files starting from 12 and going to 25. Delete all the pme0 files starting from 13 and going to 21.

Why? Well what the mdls and plts are doing is replacing the default bioware heads. Bioware's runs from 1 to 11 for females and 1 to 12 for males. Since Avlis has some custom heads, you don't want to be overriding them accidentally.

3. Enjoy the new look you're sporting. In the case of Naril, he went from having a ponytail, to wearing a hood. One of the elves in Le'Or went to a Ninja look with a cowl and face wrap. I've gone through the toolset and made a quick set of snaps of old and new, and put it together. Don't have a place to host it, or you could look at the changes and decide for yourself. Some of the faces really change, since this replacement was intended for a couple of other head packs too.

The current format is as a straightup replacement. They're currently working on a version so that you can pick either Vulcan or Big Ear look.

This is an easy fix to change up the look of your elf. Whatever your download time, plus less than a minute to delete the files, and copy them into your override and now an elf doesnt just look like a Vulcan with a good haircut.

Also note, that because this is a thing you're doing on your side, unless someone else has installed it into their override directory, they won't see the changes. So Naril on my screen sports the hood, but someone that hasn't put this in will still see Naril with a ponytail. Same as the Monk animations. Anyone that doesn't have it will see the standard boxing moves that Monks always use, while those that do have it will see the Crane.

This hakpack adds a variety of clothing additions that help make adventurers look more like well... adventurers - amongst the add ons are belt and back fitted scabbards (Bioware seems to think you keep swords in your backpack without any kind of sheath), backpacks, satchels and bags of holding (Again Bioware models seem to keep all their belongings in their back pocket), overall it just makes your characters look more convincing.
