The World of Avlis

This has already been posted but everytime I load up Avlis I can create a character well enough but what happens next is I go to a black screen with a cursor and music playing in the background, which I can exit from by pressing alt+f4.

The previous post on this stated that to get round it we should post our character bic files to someone in avlis so that they can do a manual transfer. Could someone please help me out or get in contact at

I've spent the past week all psyched up about Avlis but only to find it's a not go because of a bug.

Email the bic file to avlis@blackdagger.com

And use the search function more people, it won't hurt much.

The problem is though that I'm getting no reply from anyone on that address so I don't know if anyone is even listening

Hey, bud... less caffiene, more herbal teas.
It takes a bit for them to get through everything, and I do not think there is an auto-reply set up to it.
Plus the Avlis-admins are still sorting out a character duplication problem, so it may take a bit.

Are you SoU or non? Did you update your Avlis dialog.tlk for 1.3? Try deleting the avlis .haks and downloading them fresh to a different spot then usual, and copy them over.

No caffeine no point i say. But regardless it has been sorted. I apologise for being a nagging customer but I'm finally in and loving every moment of the world.
