Blackguard Feats

Somebody straighten me out here. I'm comparing the normal Blackguard feat listing with the one on the Avlis wiki. Are the ones on the Avlis wiki in addition to, in replace of, or a combination of each?

Bioware:
1st use poison
2nd bull's strength, dark blessing, smite good
3rd create undead, turn undead
4th 1d6 sneak attack
5th summon fiend
6th inflict serious wounds
7th contagion, 2d6 sneak attack
8th inflict critical wounds
10th 3d6 sneak attack

Avlis:
1st Detect Good 30', Detect Law 30', Turn Undead
2nd Imposition of Will
3rd Class Feat (Sneak Attack +1d6, Improved Imposition of Will, Imposition of Hatred)
4th Dark Blessing
5th Lay on Harm
6th Class Feat (Sneak Attack +1d6, Improved Imposition of Will, Imposition of Hatred)
7th Smite Good
8th Kiss of the Slaughterlord
9th Class Feat (Sneak Attack +1d6, Improved Imposition of Will, Imposition of Hatred)
10th Profane Weapon (Unholy weapon)

So, does the Blackguard get the Bio 3d6 Sneak in addition to the selectable sneaks at level 3, 6 and 9?
Can a Blackguard use the Bio Bull's Strength feat? The Avlis wiki says it is divine spell casting. Does that mean that a Blackguard needs to sink points into WIS as well as STR, CON and CHA?
Does a Blackguard get use poison? contagion? create undead? etc..

I think I'm just really confused by the differing descriptions and how they do and don't merge. And since there is no way to test an Avlis Holy Warrior build locally...

Sure there is. Make a blank mod with a button that gives you a couple million xp, attach the haks and away you go. If you're not scripty, shoot me a PM and I'll whip something up for you.

As for the Blackguard feats, you get the ones you've listed under 'Avlis'. Our custom version of the class is taken in place of the standard Bioware version - the only thing that is the same are the pre-reqs. Where there are three feats listed (3rd, 6th, 9th, every 3 levels thereafter) you get to pick one of these as an option.

The divine caster part just means that if you have cleric or druid levels, every second blackguad level counts towards spells/day, known spells, caster level, etc as if you had gained a level in your divine casting class. So a Cleric 10/Blackguard 10 casts as through they were a Cleric 15. However, If you don't have Cleric or Druid levels, taking Blackguard levels does not enable you to cast spells.

EDIT: I don't think Maleki allows Druids anyway - the world would probably explode if you rolled a Druid/Blackguard.

Thanks for clearing that up, Jonezie. The part about divine casting was especially helpful.

So to sum up..

These feats are out:
use poison (probably can still do this with DEX check)
bull's strength
create undead
summon fiend (Making fiends! Making fiends!)
inflict serious wounds
contagion
inflict critical wounds

These feats are in:
Detect good
Detect Law
Imposition of Will
Improved Imposition of Will
Imposition of Hatred
Lay on Harm
Kiss of the Slaughterlord
Profane Weapon

Common feats to both, so available regardless:
Dark blessing
Smite good
Turn undead
Sneak attack

That is correct. Note that due to engine restrictions, the smite good that custom holy warriors get is different to the one that Paladins and Bio-Blackguards get. Instead of being a single attack, a damage and attack bonus is applied to your weapon for a short time, as detailed here: http://wiki.avlis.org/Holy_Warrior_Smite

Note also that the blackguard sneak attack damage will stack with any rogue or assassin sneak attack damage that your character has.

Where did you get the Bio-Blackguard information? All references to it on the Avlis wiki should have been removed (and to be fair, I'm pretty sure they have been), to prevent confusion like this. ;)

Yeah, that info wasn't from the Avlis websites. If you really want to know where it came from (which I doubt), it was here: http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Blackguard

So, yes, the confusion was self-inflicted. :| Thanks for setting me straight with those helpful posts, Jonezie.
