just something my pastor said

I know it would probably be a good idea to keep religion away from the boards, due to different religions, denominations, and so on and so forth, but i really wanted to share this with everyone.
Before I do, one of the reasons for this, is I found out one of my most loved aunts passed away at 3:00am Central time, or 900GMT.
One day at church, my pastor said something along these lines, "Have you ever noticed headstones in a graveyard? The have the date of birth, a dash, and a date of death. We don't just come to this world to die right after we are born, but that dash is what we make our lives for. That dash represents those many years that we enjoy life and experience the ups and downs of life. So lets get out there and live our dash and see what we make of it."
Not don't get me wrong, that isn't exactly how he said it, but something along those lines. Well, my aunt lived her dash to the fullest, and I'm going to miss her, just like everyone else in the family.
