Ok, if someone can help on this subject.
Been trying to learn crafting of different skills and have some basic questions that are on the technical (not IC) side.

1. one of the handful of recipes Ive seen was in this post - Grain shots. I put in the 3 sugar and 3 wheat and a empty "ale stein" and it says there is not the correct ingrediants. Now the FAQ says "empty spirit bottle" but I have not seen any of these .. am I blind? If there is another type of bottle, wouldn't it be good for Faros (?sp) have them?

2. is it possible for the crafting system to tell you which items in your inventory you just used with the quantity? To me, this makes IC sense.

3. are any of the recipe books out yet? If so, any possible hints where to find them.

Any help on these would be much appreciated

Empty Spirits Bottle was recently replaced with Empty Bottle. Fanos does sell them. In stacks of 10 i believe

ahh, ok that answers the question about the bottles and grain shots ... thanks a lot, spent a lot of time trying to figure that one out.

Does anyone else know about question 2 and/or 3?

I believe that it was finally decided that crafting recipe books will not be provided, and that recipes may not be posted on boards, but that characters will have to learn recipes all in-game. There are guilds covering many of the crafts that you can join to learn a trade, you can go the hard way and discover recipes on your own (which somecharacters have done very successfully), and there are also independent characters that are skilled in the crafts that are willing to take on apprentices.

Anything's possible. But don't expect this to happen anytime soon - frankly, right now we've got bigger fish to fry as far as expanding the crafting system goes.

No books yet, but there will be some in the future. You'll be able to find them where you can find other books.
