The World of Avlis

I made a Vasharran tonight, and it seems they have a -1 to Charisma that isn't listed in the main thread. Also, from a while ago, I remember Ghost Elves get a -2 to Str that isn't listed in the thread. Also, my Vasharan seemed to get Scribe Scroll as a bonus feat... but that doesn't have much effect since it's disabled in Avlis.

I think scribe scroll is given to all new wizards.

Vasharan is another matter though. *wonders off to test*

EDIT: Confirmed the Vasharan charisma. So there is a small cost to the useless feat they get

Yes dirty fighting is propaply the utmost useless feat in nwn.
If i remember correctly dirty fighting in icewind dale ment that you had 10% chance of blinding your opponent (as in trhowing dust/sand/dirt to someones eyes) .

Dirty fighting is definitely one of the few feats that may actually need to be improved from what it is.(I'm sure there are many other feats that could as well but this one stands out)

That's true, but I started as a cleric, and they shouldn't get it. It wasn't in my feat list until after the switch from human to Vasharan too. But it's not a big deal since it's even more worthless than Dirty Fighting on Avlis

Attribute modifiers

Drangonari Elf:

+1 Int -3 Cha

Feats:
Lowlight Vision

Special Abilities:
Fire Breath Weapon 1x/day

I got all of that, but also -2 to DEX on two different Drangonaris I made to test. Bit of a surprise.

To create a Drangonari Elf you take as a base the standard Elf race .
The standard Elf gets +2 DEX, -2 CON.
So in order to remove this extra bonuses coming from the base race, the system subtracts 2 points of Dex and adds 2 points of Con.

Same goes for all custom races.

That's what I missed, sorry. I thought they were still basically elves. That means Drangonari can't become Arcane Archers either because they won't have the elf requirement. I guess there's no easy way to fix that.
