The World of Avlis

Hello,
I made a new character! Wee! His name is Dagovedh Pustus, and he studies diseases and death. In game terms he is a cleric (Because of his studies he also knows a lot about healing), and because a Cleric has the most "powers" to inflict disease and such. Now, I was stuck on what kind of god he should worship. Maleki seems an obvious choice, but my character is not bent on destruction,slaughter, and bloodshed, but more on spreading disease and weakening his enemies. I read the player guide, and I couldn't find a more suitable god, but it mentioned this board, and that I should ask the team. Is there some god dedicated to decay and disease? (In Warhammer terms: Nurgle ^_^)

Well doesn't matter if he isn't like Nurgle. This isn't warhammer after all As long as he spreads disease. Famine will do nicely too.

according to the convient chart, Maleki is the diety of disease.

Evark's is Suffering, Strife, Famine.

Maleki is indeed Lord of Hatred, Slaughter, and Disease.

Incidentally, I would like to see more information on Evrak, as one of my characters is interested in him. This character has been bugging Janur to do research about Evrak, but has also been scouring the library for rare tomes.

As far as focusing on one aspect of the god Maleki's portfolio, I should think that is fine. Paladins of Gorethar may not worry too much that Gorethar is the god of Dwarves, and focus more on the Warriors of Goodness aspect, rather than the craftsman aspect.

Regaurdless of your choice of Maleki, his son Evrak, or Verossa his lover, all worshipers are welcome in the Reavers. Take some time to seek us out and join Maleki's family.

Hmm thanks for the replies. So it would seem I should worship Maleki's disease aspect then...

I've not come across any priests dedicated solely to disease yet, so it makes a good original rp too.
