The World of Avlis

Are there any exact dates say in relation to the great war(or the begining of the age of peace) that the current major nations were formed?

The only one I've found any concrete info on is Kurathene and Elysia. T'Nanshi is said to date back to creation, but the history of M'Chek and Mikona seem a bit hazy, as does the major cities like the Seven Cities.

Could there for example have existed merchants in Red Gate back in the years leading up to the great war?

How about the minor races like Wemics, how long have they been around?

I can look at my notes, but I know I read something regarding Mikona being founded over two thousand years ago. I don't remember if I found this on the boards, or if it was an IG history book, but since that source would have been made not too long after Avlis started online, that would put the founding of the city before the Great War.

Correct, there are in-game books that tell of the founding of most every country, I believe.

I haven't yet seen any IG books about places we can't go yet, so maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.

Is it too much to hazard a guess that all the info I asked for above is available IG?

The only IG information I've found were for Mikona and M'Chek, Elysia, T'Nanshi (not much on that one), Brekon, Dubunat, Dobrekon, Deglos, and a smidgen on Galdos. For the Kurathene Empire, Ferrell, Tyedu, and Jechran, I think I only found information on the world information pages. I didn't find much of anything on Drotid, and only one minor reference to Toran Sharda.
