The World of Avlis

I'm very new to Avlis, a fabulous place I'm really enjoying it, and I have a couple of questions about room rentals. I read a stickied thread in the development forum that people were at one point requesting rooms through the DMs - is that still the way to go about getting a room?

I've been trying to find a room to rent but have had no luck at any of the inns I've been to so far and I'm wondering if there's another way besides just asking the inkeeper. Any help would be appreciated I'm spending much too much time encumbered.

The rooms in the cities are very hard to get rooms at.

Each room costs about 1000 gold per eral life week. Sometimes a little more.

It is actually pretty dangerous for 1st and 2nd level characters to get to some of the places that there are rooms, but try places like the bored gargoyle or port hole inn (They might be full too by now though)

In the meantime try the city inn rooms frequently.

I recently got lucky with my two main characters and they both got rooms in central Mikona.

According to the DB there are rooms open to rent. Most of the rooms on Wilderness have no one in them at all.
Across the servers we are at about 60% rented.

Thanks, I'm not sure how to get to the Wilderness but I'm betting I can find someone to show me I have tried the Port Hole but haven't found the Bored Gargoyle yet I'll have to ask around on that one. Appreciate all the help

Bored Gargoyle is outside Mikona.

IIRC Port Hole has a room or two open...

I'll check again when I get home, I asked the innkeeper last night but it said no rooms were available - that would be fabulous. Thanks!
