I voted for teleportation...my favorite ability...I would start my own delivery business, and courier company, and if you could teleport the people and direct items of contact...my own taxi service too.
Wouldn't have to rob a bank....I would be rich in a matter of hours!

I would still rob the bank...

Then buy an indoor soccer oval, that way I could kick the ball from one end, teleport to the other, kick it back...so on so on

I can't believe you left out Telekenisis.

Question:

Does having the power of Insubstantiality (ability to pass through objects) also mean that objects, such as say, bullets, could likewise pass through the person with the power?

This is key to my vote...

Another Question:

Are we assuming that the powers here, when evoked, also apply to clothes and objects carried (like bags of money [esp. those with the $ on the side]) would also be teleported/insubtantiated/etc.?

<Produce Fire and Radiation in your hands>

does the empowered also get any kind of protection from those? Because that would really a an f-you of a power if you burned yourself or got cancer everytime you used it..

Invisibility

Would it be hard to get around and do things, like pick stuff up, or stick a Q-tip in your ear if you couldn't see your hands and feet? Like, until you get used to it, are you just banging your shins on stuff all the time?

As for the poll, I'd choose Hiro's power. That combines two of the choices of course; his mastery of space/time allows both time stop and teleportation. Or, failing that, Wireless' (Hana Gitelman's) power (which you left off the poll) is pretty useful, though arguably Micah's is moreso. Hana's power doesn't involve large bags full of money, after all. :D

I think it is a rather big assumption on your part that they don't.

Not that I've ever seen or heard anything...

Ayup, it does, in this specific example.

Just watch Heroes and see.

Technopathy!

Just so they understand the curses I speak out over them and to hear my computer or other device squirm and groan in pain when I hit it over and over and over and over again and once again because it really hurts to hit them over and over and over and over again.....

Oh please, that goes without saying. :P

Just kidding, I have more important things I would use invisibility for. Like sneaking into movie theaters, stealing computer parts, and scaring the hell out of people.

i chose read peoples thoughts... that way i would know when to fight, flight, or fornicate as it were ((it would almost be like a form of precognition))... and I would try to use the power for good... really i would... really
it would be very very annoying if i coldn't turn it off thought or if i heard like everyone in the worlds thoughts at once...

Technopathy is hands down the most powerful in a practical "own the world" sense.
Change the course of an election, money is literally just at your fngertips. Fuck with your enemies credit rating or hell, simply wipe them out of existence and take all their shit,etc...

Never stop for a red light again..ever..never pay for anything again....never owe taxes again..ever. Never have a problem getting tickets ( movie ,concert, super bowl, airplane ) online..
May not be an exciting or sex ah power to have, but he who controls computers controls the world! Mwahahaha!
