If you could have one single power, which one would it be?

Hmmm, toss up btw Timestop and Invisibility.....bah, Invisibility (but, I'll only use this power for good !)

Insubstantiality... In the 70's & 80's Kitty Pryde was always my favorite X-man. She used her powers in all sorts of interesting ways, even to simulate flying or levitation by 'walking' on the air particles around her.

Heroes does rock.

But I'd go for flying. As a kid I used to LOVE the idea of flying. Peter Pan, Superman... those kind of characters I loved. I remember also walking down the road when I was a kid thinking that I really could fly if I wanted to... how naieve I was. Ahh. I was so disappointed that I couldn't.

I went with flight... but not like in Heroes. Psionic flight is risky. What if it blinks off when you're a mile up? Physical flight, resulting from a lighter body, enhanced muscles, and wings (a la Angel from X-men) would be nice, though.

Regeneration seems nice, but it doesn't mean you don't feel pain. What if you end up broken apart and horribly mangled to the point that you go completely insane before healing back up? There are some things no one should have to live through.

Teleportation. Means I can visit my GF whenever I want instead of whenever I can afford the flight. Never be late for work, although I'd probably start an extreme express courier service on the side.

I love to be able to get around....anything. If I know my exit point well enough it works as well as instubstantiality for entry purposes. Hmmm...I need to go to the bank......

However the one true thing I would like over this would be telekinesis or psychokinesis. Especially if the power were trainable so your strength increases with use.

Techopathy!!! World would be mine and yours Avlis characters too!

Technopathy rulez - remember "Fight Club"? With Technopathy the total world disorder would be much easier to make.

I chose the first one as well, although all of those are cool - except for Telepathy. I think that would be like the BtVS episode where she could hear everything everyone thought and almost went crazy. Selective telepathy would be much better.

Incidentally, regeneration like Wolverine in X-Men would not really be fun - He could not be harmed and all damage was healed, but it hurt like hell every time.
Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.

Teleportation, I could live anywhere in the world, and see every wonder there is to see, the whole world woud be mine to explore and I could sleep in my own bed every night, and eat at any restaraunt in the world, you get the picture.

Teleportation... if it could be done rapidly could essentially simulate flying... teleport up... fall teleport back up... Plus if you ever are late... you can just zap wherever...helps you get out of trouble, and you can make money/ get ass with it!

What about being able to erase people's memories or be like Claire's dad and be able to stop other people's powers? Also, Telekinesis?
