We're talking specifically about D&D here, not other RPG's!

I would play PnP, but NWN/Avlis takes all my spare time. And Verg is now married, too. ;)

I voted PnP since that is the thing that I do for the longest time, though it is a hard choice between Avlis and PnP ;) I played LARP....guess it is not my thing.............

Where's the "What's a D&D fix" option?

and yes, I know what it is, just don't understand needing a 'fix'...probably because I've never played

I ran an Avlis game for my friends here at school last year, it was a hit.
Started out in Blandenburg during the setting of the T'Nanshi/M'chek war, a few months later they were embroiled in a secret war between the Ravens and Elysia's Shadowdirks, before all heck broke loose. >.>

I ran it all year, it was great fun.

For a long time, I didn't play D&D at all, even though it's D&D that started me on RPG's 28 years ago. I never played 3.0 or 3.5 at all.

Recently though, a friend of mine got all the 3.5 books and started an Eidolon campaign. It was really handy that my NWN knowledge allowed me to know most of the rules, even though there are a lot of changes in 3.5. :)

I'd definitely do an Avlis setting if I ran a game. The vast amount of background material that's already done for me would be a great aid.

That's awesome!

I think that I'm just as thrilled (if not more) that people play pnp Avlis as I am when they play NWN.
