Epic Levels and the New XP Code

PostAuthor: Buddha » Thu Jun 15, 2006 7:56 pm

Dear Epics & Others,

It has come to my attention that many folks begin to feel stymied in progression as they pass into Epic levels. Well, I just want you all to know, that I feel for you. In fact, I feel for you enough to actually do something.

For others, you're just stomping along, bashing some xp yielding monster with the sound turned up, when suddenly ... Bells! You've leveled. Not much can describe your surprise at that point, but there is one thing that can.

When you finally do level, it's quite the accomplishment, and deserves to be rewarded properly. Accordingly, I recommend that Avlis implement the following policy:

Upon reaching level 20 (just before epic) or just if you feel like it, players are required to download the following and put it in their override folder:

DOWNLOAD
(right-click and select "Save As" and save it in your override folder)

I'm thinking of you all fondly,

Buddha

If I may give you another idea: Party and plot more! MORE! MORE! MORE! :D
Booze aside, when epics roam together they see the "You Gained a Level!" relatively more often.

Possibly the funniest part of this is that most of us will forget we even have it... *snickers more*
