Being as I use gloves....
It is either Stun or Daze...followed extremely close by SILENCE.
Silence would be awesome, but I would hate to screw up my group with it....hence....I cannot take it first even though that's really what I think would be coolest. :P

Although any of the above would be fun, gotta go with the glowy.

Daze, cause then I could just pop myself in the head gently whenever I felt like drinking alcohol, and save a lot of money!

OK, or not.

I've always been fond of d6 Sonic bonuses. * shrugs * Maybe it's the cool glowy look, maybe it's the fact that few things can save against it, maybe it's cause I imagine it must make a really neat noise, I dunno.

Almost all of those special disabling abilities have a crappy DC and since autofail is disabled, will hardly ever work on oponents that are a threat. :?

Therefor i go for the vampiric regeneration, closely followed by 1d6 elemental. :)

Exactly! the hum one would hear and the blinding visual.. mmm just give me a box of tissues :D But even if there is no glowy even a d4 sonic to hear the hum is sexah.

(vote for d6 element)

Hmmm.....hard choice. Alll look good, but reallly would like Keen or Vampiric Regeneration..and probably the latter.

If I remember correctly, the on hit properties come with low DC's, so if the DC is not very high, then it's not likely to help out very often. So, in that case, something that helps out all the time would be preferable, like keen or elemental damage. Since there is a spell for keen and for fire dmg, elemental damage that isn't fire would probably be the best. One that's not on there though is enhancement bonus. Given the changes to greater magic weapon and my character's build, he'll never be able to enhance his own weapon to +5 even at level 40. So, a +5 weapon would likely be the ultimate weapon for him, even if it had no other properties.

All that said, though, I'd mostly want a weapon that just looks really wicked. :)

As far as the on hit properties go though, I do like wounding and ability drain. Along the lines of the latter, another that's not on there that I like is cause disease.

I'll go for a hefty vampiric regen. I wouldn't mind my gloves sucking the life right out of my opponents and give it to me. Keen was my other favorite, but you can only put it on edged weapons and not on gloves. (although my crane gloves have razor edges)

It's all about looking good. I don't care if I've got the most ineffective character build, weapons, and armor out there, as long as looks frickin cool!

Glowy weapons!!! ('Course, the two characters I play at the moment wield a staff and a whip, so dunno how that'd look.)

Edit:

Um, before I vote, what makes a weapon glow?

Vamp regen, then keen, then elemental damage, preferrably sonic. I already have gloves that stun, and they are nice, but nothing beats using your enemies like heal kits. Just, umm, don't hit the undead with them. It's not pretty. Ooo, positive energy gloves. Or disruption :D:D

On hit properties can have up to a DC of 26. If it's a will save, this is actually pretty damn good, as most things don't have anywhere near that high a will save. And Slow actually even works vs undead. So that's a pretty good on-hit property.

Rhiss would benefit best from keen being added to his weapon, as it already has d6 elemental. But if we're talking a weapon from scratch, then I'd say d6 elemental would be the best overall, as it hurts everything.

Bah! Melee weapons!

I play an AA dammit!

Vampirific Regen would be cool, but I have arrows that can do that :)
Keen, it's handy but AFAIK it's only applicable to slashing weapons, shame really as bigger crit ranges are better ;)

My pick is for wounding.

Now if I could have arrows with the wounding property......

Bah, Metagamers! I don't care what the DC is, Fear would be wonderful! Just too bad the effect doesn't make the victim piss their pants.

In fact..Why not have weapons with the " piss their pants " property? Nothing screams " Lord of Darkness" like a big Maul of Pants Pissing +1 that makes even Paladins soil themselves.

*cough* Erm, just a suggestion..An' stuff..

Silence, and then I'd stab all mages in the face.

(they'd save unless they were lowbies, but the notion of silencing a mage is nice)

A certain gnome has already delivered my Christmas present, and I have to say, <topsecret> and sneak attack are a pretty deadly combination.

But otherwise I pretty much agree with Rhiss.
