We would need a new server just for this spell.

Early December with the team updating the mods about a month after that. Maybe longer.

Yep, the last I heard was December 3. The better indicator is when BioWare states that HotU has gone gold. Approximately two weeks after that, we'll all be in HotU heaven.

I voted scripting because I think that in HoTU one will be able to create custom items that do things onhit/onequip and such. I am no scripter but in a recent conversation I had with Papillon he mentioned this as the most important thing one could implement in the game...

So many of these options will have important impacts on Avlis. It took me a while to decide on a single one. Although it won't have the greatest influence on this world as compared to other options, I chose skies as the new feature I'm most excited about.

I have always hated the fog concept. Realistically it can be argued either way although when I'm in an open field I can see from horizon to horizon in fair weather. The fact is that skies will give that extra immersion that I crave in a game. Just like Jordi's excellent music files, skies will add to the overall experience provided they are done well.

Bring 'em.

Hand crossbows!

Did I already mention that?

And no, I have absolutely no idea if these are in HoTU? I simply highjacked the thread to use as a soapbox.

All of the screen shots look good. But i WOULD HAVE TO SAY I am looking forward to the whole package, skies, whips, new PrC, and all the new features. YYYAAAHHHOOO!

Scripting commands loook good, as do skies. I'm not particularily keen on the epic levels, because I like mages and they seem to get totally screwed in epic levels. Going from the most powerful type to probably the weakest. At least, in the higher epic levels. Maybe some epic spells will help balance it, I guess we'll see how it turns out...
