If the poll holds any relevance to me I'll usually vote. Most of the polls don't, however.

Polls validate my existance. I can't be happy till I know I clicked an option on an internet poll at least once that day. God have pity on my tormented soul.

Almost always vote, usually a post as well. :)

Generally vote. Okay, always vote, but never meaningfully. Same with posting. Almost always post, rarely meaningfully.

oh, I voted yes btw. The only ones I don't vote in generally are those "Have I been annoying enough to have got your attention?" type ones.

I vote in polls, because I know that sometimes it makes a difference.

According to Manuel's database query, there have been 618 different board names logging in within the last 7 days. If you figure that some people use multiple board names, I'd guess that about 575 of those names are unique people.

So around 575 different people per week check these boards. That's about a quarter of the Avlis playerbase!

Conclusion on advertisement banners (NOT popups), it's probably worth doing, but it will probably not make any money, except to encourage people to join fanfic because it removes the banners when you do.

Depends on the subject but usually I'll dive in :)
The Bridgekeeper vs King Arthur:
"WHAT...is your name?"
"Arthur, King of the Brits."
"WHAT...is your quest?"
"To find the Holy Grail."
"WHAT...is the average speed of a swallow?"
"An African or a European one?"
"Well I don't knooAAAARGH!"

Bedevere feat. Arthur:
"How do know so much about swallows?"
"Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know."

((and sadly one GSid... I cant hide))

I usually look at the polls and most catch my interest I just dont always reply in them.

I usually vote, if it's a worthwhile poll. If a comment is needed, I may even comment. I vote more than comment on the polls though.

I still wonder how anyone could have voted NO - clearly they are not telling the truth - at least not anymore
