Sorcere! ;)

Well, evocation. I always loved watching my summons doing dirty job and finishing the leftovers with magic missles.

However, in DnD (NWN) setback of not having transmutation buffs when you choose evocation as your specialisation... *shudders*

Enchantment! Seriously, once you get Epic Spell Focus, you paralyze those fighters!!! Still, it gets a bit boring on Arena Servers being paralyzed a few thousand times a minute, but it works!

Abjuration.

Buff all you want, but what does a caster fear most? They're immune to everything under the sun when they're done with their routine.

Dispel. Hahaha.

Evocation is cool, I like the fancy explosions, but Hogwarts just plain rocks.

Hey Hey Hey, you made evocation WAAAY larger than all the others. If I didn't believe it was a simple mistake..... Divination whoops all. I'd like to see a buffed up fight break through a level 35 wizard's premonition

easy. GMW and premonition is useless. Knock down and it's all over especially if we're talking a fighter rogue heh

My character is an epic focused evoker for a reason.

It's all about the BOOM.

I've never actually played a mage on Avlis. Based solely on the descriptions, I'd say that the Enchantment school of magic would make for some great roleplay opportunities.

Enchantment - at a numerical disadvantage? Trapped by weak minded prison guards? Come home late to dinner, facing an angry matron? No longer!

In PnP, I would usualy focus in divination, strategicaly. It's much more useful in PnP then in NWN. There are spells in PnP that basicaly ensure you handle information gathering faster than Sherlock Holmes. No one ever gets the drop on you, and thus you always have the upper hand. And if you're a bounty hunter... just cast a couple spells. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. It's not flashy, but it gets the job done.

Illusion.

Wanna blow something up? Shadow Evocation.

Wanna summon something? Shadow Conjuration.

Wanna scare the wits out of someone? Phantasmal Killer...
