Well, there's no "other" option, but my biggest pet peeve is when people emote *nods* when running/walking past a group that's talking. It's clear that it's a custom text macro that they just press on their quickslot as they run by. I mean, why even bother? Would you nod to everyone you pass on the street?

Where's the option for high level magic users throwing around magic for no apparant reason?

Where's the "None of the above" option?
The only thing that bothers me is unfair behaviour, poor sportsmanship, negative metagaming, and PGers who get into CvC once they're epic.
The rest? All adds to variety of the game.. I love seeing weird and wonderful things in game, it's a fantasy setting of magic and demons and you're upset that someone has a glowing staff or a tail?

I voted for Tells.

Really I don't have a problem with Tells, but I think it is a touch annoying when you are with a group and one person is staring off into space, but you know they are having a Tell-versation with someone else.

Especially if they slip and you get a completely random comment that everyone reacts to IC.

Not that I am not guilty of using Tells, but I try to avoid ignoring the people in front of me.

As a side to this, I also think that two characters standifng near each other, but being completely silent is funny. I was noticing this when I was playing earlier. I was having an OOC conversation with a friend using Tells, even though we were right next to each other. Glad no one walked by. :)

I *nod* from time to time, and its typed not quick-slotted. Why waste a quickslot for a mere 6 letter word ;)

Think "Crocodile Dundee". Mick was *nodding* and "how are ya mate?" to everyone he saw.

Try saying good morning to people you pass in the street, IT WORKS.

The biggest pleasure is the look of pure shock on peoples faces, acknowledgement works. They smile!!

People used to do this all the time, if you were a commoner and a few hundred years ago you didnt acknowledge the passing of your betters you'd get a good whiping for being impolite. :) In Japan you'd get beheaded!

Its a small craze... try promoting it locally.

other: summons

or more specifically: dangerous/demonic summons in non-dangerous situations

or even more specifically: doing this and then wondering why your actions are "frowned upon"

People who assume that other people have taken 3 levels of rogue for no logical reason. Or any other level combination. It's very difficult to get to a higher rogue level without getting to level 3 at some point! Stop metagaming!

I look on the player list out of curiosity. Rogue (3) just seems to crop up, a lot, and I mean a "lot". Yes, people need three at some point... but still, it seems to be staying there... I'm not going to argue though.

Seconded.
My character has 3 levels of rouge, even though he is officially roleplayed as a pure wizard, because he is.... ops! :D Shouldn't say that loud...

Well, being a rouge helps him somewhat in doing of his part-time job. :)

Why not two levels then? The keyword here is Feats, especially the ones they get at level 3. If it is ok for people to take three levels of rogue when it's blatantly 3 for the feats, then people should be able to take one level of SD, or one level of Paladin...

Metagaming or not there are clearly character builds in which you know rogue levels were picked purely for sneak attack damage. That really annoys me. I give my friend the utmost respect for staying pure fighter when he could easily now start piling on the rogue levels just to get his damage insanely high.

Folks who do not wait at the transition for the rest of their group to zone in, but instead just keep on running.

That is my opinion, not nessasarily anyone else's opinon, might just be, but that would be a coincodence, and damnit, sometimes the crap I write is not even my opinion either.
