I voted for Dubunat. It would be logical to make Dubunat before Seven Cities. Then again... Kurathene would increase action in Deglos, which would be really good too. I find it almost cheating if you go to Seven Cities with a boat from Elysia for example... It's too damn quick route, if you're just instantly there!

I voted Kurathene Empire, since my character is from there.
Glad to hear it's being made, if I am not mistaken

Dubunat, to open up the west coast of the continent. It can be reached from Deglos and Ferrell and would then provide access to Toran Sharda, Seven Cities and Brekon once they were built. Basically, there is no other new nation that would link to more existing or future nations (Drotid and Toran Sharda each link to the same number of existing, but only one future). Thus, it is the logical choice from the standpoint of maintaining connectivity while expanding.

It would also introduce the first 'evil' nation without the potential 'your character is now a slave of my character' issues that Drotid introduces. Granted, that already exists with 'marriages' on the other servers, but still... :)

Toran Shadra,

Only because of it's geographical significance. Systematic approach. Drotid is probably the next best if following that logic.

Since we're being wishful, here's my vote:

None of those. Move the Underdark to its own server, add a Sereg city, flesh out the goblinoid camps, and connect Deglos and Ferrell to it.

Wouldn't that rock? :)

I have to say Dubunat, mainly for IC reasons.

On the other hand, there are several amazing swamp haks out there that could be used for Drotid.

oooooooo.... yes. That would be nice....

I was also wondering (not too far off topic, just kind of next to it) if you could have a dedicated 'dungeon' server, that no matter which "nation" the zone was technically in, the players and action would get handled by the dungeon server instead of say, Mikona or Elysia where the server already has to handle all that chat and movement, objects all over the place, etc. You could move one or two existing 'dungeons' off of each of the crowded servers, and still have room for a lot more, I would guess. Or use underutilized servers... I mean if Deglos has on average 0-4 people on it at all times, couldnt it be handling some of the zones that are currently being handled by the populated servers? OK im done.

The underdark would be a cool and diferent place to have going. Another server I was playing on had an underdark also, and there was a huge battle that broke out between surface/dark elves - all character driven.

One thing I liked that they did was have the underdark be VERY difficult - lots of bad guys, very few npc type help. Add to that the the pc were all fighting each other and/or watching their backs made it likely that an underdark pc didn't see the light of day til after 10th lvl or later - and was quickly ganged up on if they did appear on surface.

On a plot note: might be a good way to end/temper down the Mcheck/Tnanshi conflict - surface joining together against the common enemy. Would be a good plot expander.

A quick note/rave to Avlis team and pc: I mentioned the above comment from another server. It is a server I would NEVER go back to: they had great ideas, but the pc interaction was attrocious and the superiority complex of the DMs was ... childish at best. You guys are by far the best combination of great design/teamwork/fantastic dms/helpful PCs I have ever come across. Great work guys!!!

Not to be a pain, but I would like to see the current areas more fleshed out before any new areas are made. Some areas just seem unfinished, and we could always use more quests in every city.

Definately got to be drotid, not just cause that was my vote, think about it, in T'Nanshi the drotid invade against the elves, and further south aid in M'chek. Hell, we even have PC's running around from drotid.
Ha, so due to the economics of science and all that crap drotid got my vote....Seven cities would be cool though.
