This poll is for potions that do not affect the 6 main attributes of your character. Instead, they give enhancements in other ways. Is your desired option not in the list? Add it in your post.
ACTIVE CHARACTERS: Casey Landry, Jessie Morrice
SOMETIMES CHARACTERS: Silinde, Luthias
INACTIVE CHARACTERS: Manuel (the White) Thay't Le'Megen, Zven Reaplenoose, Drashter Volterz

I don't actually use the 'buff' potions much (if at all) as it is, so I go with Heal.

I've found invisibility a very good potion...especially when your around things you'd rather not have seeing you :D

If I've got only one potion, chances are I'm already dead!

I barkskin, makes you harder to hit and reduces the need to be healed. If I'm killed easily with it on, then chances are that a single healing potion wouldn't make a lot of difference.

Of course invisibility would do a better job, but my fighter would take an attack of opportunity while running away and poof!

Stoneskin preferably - or maybe Fanos Cure Critical Wounds.
Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.

Well, since there is only one healing potion on the list it has to be "heal". Personally though, a Cure Critical is usually enough for me.

Er.. I must admit, I read this poll as "if you only had one type of potion... not just one potion." Hmmm :? In that case it's still heal or maybe speed - just run, run, run all the way home :)

Since some creatures can see through invisibility it would have to be speed so if things are bad I could run and if things aint so tough I can fight. But they dont last very long its not a very good long term plan so maybe the heal would be better?

Glosht!

On a more topical note... Man, what's with you people and Heal? *laughs* Seriously, like a +3 bandage deals out about 3/4 of Jerry's health. What the hell I need Heal for? :D

Now Restoration, on the other hand... How do you all deal with stat loss? I get stat loss all'a damn time in Avlis! :(

Bye Now,
Jerry Cornelius - Seriously though... Glosht!

I think if you only have ONE potion you're probably in deep doo-doo or soon will be. Invisibility is the way to go. Get out of there and go shopping, or drinking, or both.

In retrospect, I was hasty in picking Invisibility... Restoration is probably the one "safety" potion I use the most... getting debuffed or hit with another negative effect in the middle of a fight is REALLY not cool.

The other option would be the Lycanthropic Cure, which cures most (if not all) curses. Curses aren't as widespread as regular old negative effects, though.

I voted for speed, seeing as it can be useful for both the extra 4 AC and attack per round during combat, and for running your ass away from Green Raven and co.

If Ken had only one potion it would be Divine Presence (+4 to hit bonus). Usually his opponents do not live long if he's able to hit them. In case things turn bad he can always tumble around them, run away and/or hide.

ok, here's how it goes:
1#- drink invisibility potion
2#- From a local merchant, swipe the desired potion of choice plus another invisibility potion..
3#- repeat steps 1 & 2 as many times necessary. :D :!:
