I always enjoyed this ... how about doing something like "article of clothing that caused your PC(s) the most trouble" ?

I always enjoyed this, but I think a the rule that you have to draw something to post a suggestion and having to wait for the 'next' person to post a suggestion needs to be eliminated.

I don't see a problem with trying out some rule tweaking.

Yeah, Rule tweaking seems fine with me, and I'm pleased as punch to see someone taking over.

Silverfields, what were you thinking to replace it?

Not replacing per say, just dropping.

Anyone can make a suggetion, at any time. It would be up to the artists to pick a prompt and go with it. More of an inspiration thing then a 'have to get 'er done' thing.

Too chaotic?

I have a topic. (And, no, I can't draw). But it was suggested IG! My PC Arglebargle is working on some golem research, as he calls it Golemmatotica. Which of course became Steampunk Golem Erotica. It promises to be a hot and steamy topic, so get cracking!

   Well...it DOES say possibly NSFW...

I might actually take on a few of these soon. Already sorta started two. It all depends if I can stop getting awful allergy headaches.

Very cool! I've never watched someone shade/color with marker before. I'm a lame-o and only do digital coloring.

Not exactly sure where to post these, as it didn't feel right to put pics of a scythe under portraits, or screenshots, so I'm tucking them in here.

I figured since some player's PC's use scythes as their weapon of choice, they might want to get a look at my latest acquisition.

This is a brush scythe, with the shorter, hefty blade to mow down the heavier weeds and overgrowth.

Sorry that the pics are fairly big, I wanted to show details.

You might ask, why do I have a scythe??

Last summer I spent a month learning the art of the scythe. (Meaning I was handed a modern scythe and told to learn to use it.) So I did, everything from peening and honing to setting the nibs on the snath and the tang on the heel plate.

Fun stuff, and no papercuts.

Fast forward to December, desperately trying to find "interesting" Christmas presents when I found this beauty in a secondhand shop. I had to have it, and so it became my Christmas present to me.

For those who are curious, I am not going to try to move the handles, called nibs, to their proper places, but leaving them just as they are. The wood for the left nib is about to crack and I don't want that.

I used to cut grass with one for an ecology professor who had a barn summer home in PA Amish country. The Amish used to come by on their horse and carriages and shake their heads at me trying to use a new snath from Acme. I was definitely not this guy:

You know, while mowing, I've tried to figure how someone could use a scythe in a fight, and the only thing I can figure is it would work great if you wanted to fight yourself, cause cutting yourself at the ankles is definitely a danger for a beginner. I watched a bunch of videos and read articles debating if the scythe could be a used as an offensive weapon, and... yeah, no, sorry, there are simply easier, better weapons out there. Balance, for one thing. That blade is not light, and the snath is purposefully end heavy. If I ever did have to fight with it, I would remount the blade on another handle so it did not angle back in on itself and be more halberd-like.

Duh, it's a ~touch~ weapon obviously ('ranged touch' for special users). :P

Well, historically, military scythes were basically scythe blades mounted on a straight pole(plus military scythe blades were different them the farm scythe). Same with peasants would do in revolts. No one ever used a farming scythe as is, not unless they had no other choice...like if surprised or something like that. That is because it was a tool for cutting grass and grains and such and not a weapon. So when they ever did use them as weapons the blades were always switched over to a straight pole. Like any other polearm had. Just a little info for you all, for what its worth.

Hey everybody!

So myself and Dull Fred have had an idea of doing a comic page for a while and we finally got our act together and have a few ideas. This is the first instalment, just trying it out and seeing if you lot like it!

Hopefully you'll like it :D

So follow these links to see the first page!

So have a look at me creating it on YouTube

Hey everyone!

I did another speedpaint that I thought you lot might like. It's of a swamp witch character. Please take a look. I'll leave a link just below to my YouTube channel.
If there is something you would like me to draw please leave a comment, I am starting to run out of ideas and anything new I would appreciate!

I'll try and get another comic page out soon to, (when I can fit it in more like).
